Justin Smith, owner of Technically Better LLC, is a proud resident of the nearby Gatesville community. He and his wife, Cindy, are longtime residents, with the exception of 6 years living in College Station. Together, they share a home with their dog, Shep, and their cat, Gemma. Cindy is a former teacher that now works as a registered dental hygienist in Temple. They enjoy spending time with family and friends, going out to see new movies, and taking care of their pets and livestock.

Justin has been in the I.T. field for over a decade. During this time, he has worked for multiple managed service providers (MSPs). He has worked in roles related to computer hardware and software repairs, performing vehicle audio installations and home theater installations, technical support for businesses, server maintenance, and security system installation and maintenance.  While working for these other providers, he noticed they all seemed to be focused on bigger businesses and corporations as their customer base. In 2024, while completing a degree in Computer Information Systems at Temple College, Justin decided to launch Technically Better. He planned to give residential clients and small businesses an affordable, reliable, and honest option for technical support.

Technically Better is TOPS (Texas Online Private Security) certified, which is necessary to meet legal requirements for security system installations in public spaces, such as a business. They will come to your home or small business for many services and drop off can be arranged at the Gatesville office for something such as a phone or laptop repair.

Services offered include, but are not limited to: computer troubleshooting and repair, network troubleshooting, installation, and repair, TV mounting, home theater installations, server installation and management, VOIP phone services, phone repair, tablet repair, cabling, internet setup.
