The Incredible Flying Squirrel: Come to the Ohio Wildlife Center on Sunday, November 2 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. for “The Incredible Flying Squirrel,” part of the Beautiful Ohio lecture series. Dr. Don Althoff will share 30 years of discoveries about these fascinating, highly social mammals, complete with video footage of their gliding abilities and nesting habits. Veterans Day Ceremony: The City of Powell’s 2024 Veterans Day Ceremony will take place on Monday, November 10 at 11 a.m. at the Greater Powell Veterans Memorial in Village Green Park. Wildlights: Wildlights will illuminate the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium nightly between November 21 and January 4. A Members Night on Thursday, November 20 will precede the regular season. Powell Turkey Trot 4-Miler: Following a record-breaking 10th anniversary last year, the annual Powell Turkey Trot returns for its 11th year this Thanksgiving.
