Gardens in Paradise offers a unique opportunity to visit five private Sarasota Gardens. Gather ideas and inspiration as you visit paradise! This 11th Annual Tour will provide you the opportunity to visit these hidden gems.

Gardens in Paradise will be held on Saturday March 21st 2026 from 9:30 to 4:00 pm.  Hurricanes Milton and Helene can’t keep gardeners at bay.  Despite last season’s devastation, necessitating a one year hiatus, the Sarasota Garden Club notes “we again have amazing gardens” to wet every appetite!

 

From Tudors to colonials; ranchers to contemporaries this year’s offerings should not be missed!  Two homes were featured in South Poinsettia Park’s Centennial tour which has recently been awarded the 2026 Alliance for Historic Preservation Heritage Award.  This is a coveted Organizational Achievement award for public education and outreach.  Tropic splendor, classic garden design, as well as funk and whimsy in the garden abound. Neighborhoods in close proximity to Southside Village offers easy  access to all gardens.

Start where you will on this self-guided tour. As a participant you will check in at any of the gardens on the tour and proceed from garden to garden as you so choose. Each registered participant receives a tour map and information the week of the tour. A map with addresses of the gardens and more information will be provided several days before the tour date. Docents will be on hand to enhance your experience and fun!

So don’t dally…if you have not yet purchased a ticket…here is your chance to participate in this year’s tour!   Many homes are walkable with a minimal drive time; parking readily available…  You may choose to lunch at Southside Village. Put on your bonnet, bring sunscreen and water; get some great ideas for your own gardens.  You may have enjoyed a “taste” of these gardens in the Stroll…but you should not miss the hidden beauty of each property!
