With a background in real estate and urban planning, Sarah brings a deep understanding of Sarasota’s unique character and growth to her work, making the magazine a true reflection of the community it serves.

A fourth generation Sarasotan, Sarah grew up in one of the West of Trail neighborhoods, making it especially meaningful for her to create a publication for the area she knows and loves. She and her husband, Eric, have three children—Grant, who is finishing his last year at FSU, her alma mater, and Jason and Evelyn, who attend Southside Elementary, the same school she once did.

When she’s not curating compelling content, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and exploring Sarasota’s vibrant culture. Her commitment to community engagement makes Stroll West of Trail more than just a magazine—it’s a celebration of the people and stories that make this neighborhood thrive.
