Step aside, tough guys – Southside has a new gentle giant in town, and his name is Reif! Proudly adored by pet parent Stephen Heffron, this charming Rottweiler-Shepard mix, born in mid-September of 2015, has spent a wondrous nine years as the heartthrob of his parents' eye!
 Often stereotyped as fearsome guardians, Reif shatters these misconceptions with his endearing antics and a heart of gold. This lovable pooch thrives on companionship, never straying too far from his doting parents. 

Reif is an adventurous spirit, reveling in outdoor escapades from the comfort of his special car seat, where he basks in the thrill of the open road and the passing scenery.

Beach days? Count him in! True to his namesake, Reif is a water enthusiast who can happily spend hours at the beach, mesmerized by the rhythm of the waves. And let’s not forget his cheeky puppy days when he’d joyfully scour the beach, playfully raiding beach bags and backpacks. Picture this: giggling beachgoers chasing a mischievous Rottweiler who’s just snagged a phone or car keys – it’s a classic comedy scene that had everyone rolling with laughter! Little did they know this was less of a game to Reif!

Reif also has a palate as refined as his personality! He’s a seafood connoisseur at heart, and there’s no better way to win his loyalty than by topping his food with salmon. It’s transformed into a nightly feast! When it comes to cool treats, Reif has a special soft spot for Dogster’s Dog Ice Cream from Publix – no other ice cream can compare!

Having mingled with many furry friends at Bayside Pet Resort, this sociable pup is eager to meet more neighborhood pals. So, if you spot Reif strutting his stuff down Orange Avenue with Stephen, don’t hesitate to stop by and give a friendly shout.
