Meet Goose
This month, we’re excited to introduce you to Goose — an 8-month-old English Labrador who has quickly become the heart and comic relief of his very busy family.
When Goose joined his family, it truly felt like something out of a movie. After finally deciding that a puppy was the missing piece to complete their crew, Mom and Dad surprised their daughters on a day they’d never forget. The girls had just wrapped up school testing, so they each received a little gift — dog toys. They were puzzled… very puzzled. And then the moment happened — Pat walked in holding a puppy with a giant red bow tied around his neck. The look on their faces was pure magic. Goose was home.
From that day forward, he has fit in like he has always been meant to be there.
Goose’s days are filled with the best kind of simple joys — car rides for afternoon school pickup, running wildly through the yard with his girls, and daily adventures to Morton’s, where he knows Miss Helene will absolutely have a treat ready and waiting. He’s a social pup, too. Goose’s best friend is Finn — a mini Bernadoodle who lives nearby with the Hansen family. Both just 8 months old, the two match each other’s energy perfectly… though Goose is known to take more break time than Finn! He also loves spending time with Cooper and Maverick — his fellow Lab buddies.
His favorite snacks? Ice cubes and blueberries. Simple, refreshing, and he goes nuts for both. His special talent? He gives “knuckles” instead of a traditional paw shake — and it’s become his signature move.
Goose is more than a pet — he has completed their family in every way. What once felt like a big hesitation to add a dog into such a full schedule now feels unimaginable. Life without Goose doesn’t feel possible or complete. He is adored, cuddled, doted on, and loved fiercely by his three daughters — and he gives that love right back just as big.
Goose isn’t just a dog — he’s the final puzzle piece, the sweetest boy, and the memory-maker that arrived wrapped in a red bow… just when they didn’t know how much they needed him.
