Finnegan “Finn”
The Energetic Heart of the Hansen Home
In the Hansen household, life moves a little faster and a lot more joyfully thanks to Finnegan, affectionately known as “Finn” or “Finny4Paws.” This one-year-old Mini Bernedoodle has quickly become the heartbeat of the family, bringing energy, laughter, and plenty of unforgettable moments along the way.
Finn’s story began with a surprise that is hard to top. On Easter morning, he officially joined the Hansen family in the most festive way imaginable, rounding the corner in full bunny ears. Despite the challenge of keeping such an energetic pup under wraps the night before, the surprise was a success and marked the beginning of a beautiful new chapter for Scott, Meghan, and their daughters, Marabella and Vivienne.
From the very start, Finn made it clear he is not one to sit still. Bursting with energy, he loves running, hiking, and even “hunting” lizards in the backyard. But perhaps his favorite place is the family pool. With his thick Bernese coat, Finn has mastered the art of staying cool and spends much of the warmer months happily splashing around. Weekends often turn into lively poolside adventures, with Marabella and Vivienne jumping in as Finn joyfully chases after them.
Routine is just as important to Finn as playtime. He insists on daily walks after school drop-off, a ritual Scott and Meghan have come to cherish. These neighborhood strolls are as much about connection as they are about exercise, offering plenty of chances to greet fellow dog lovers along the way.
Of course, no social pup is complete without a best friend. Finn’s closest companion is Goose, the Warwick family’s English Labrador. The two recently enjoyed a “doggy spring break” together while staying with their dog watchers, a week filled with play, companionship, and likely a bit of mischief.
While Finn’s playful spirit keeps everyone on their toes, it is his loving nature that truly defines him. After the family said goodbye to their beloved English Bulldog a few years ago, it was hard to imagine another dog filling that space. But Finn has done just that, bringing warmth, affection, and a sense of completeness back into their home.
And as if his personality were not enough, Finn has a few impressive tricks up his sleeves. He has mastered the art of opening doors, both inside and out, and when he cannot manage that, he rings his special doggy doorbell to politely announce his needs.
With boundless energy, a loyal heart, and just the right amount of cleverness, Finn is not just a pet, he is family.
