The Bowman family is still in pursuit of adventures to this day! Albeit with 3 new Bowman’s in the picture from when the first article was written.  

 

As one of two owners at Purmort and Martin Insurance Agency, Larry Bowman designs and manages insurance programs for middle-market businesses all over North America, in a variety of industries, including manufacturing and distributing, aerospace, non-profits, hospitality and amusements, construction and development, and medical risks. He also works closely with several of the top private equity firms, real estate investment trusts, and family offices in the US, providing P&C insurance due-diligence services on the buy and sell side of transactions.

 

Marie is a licensed Interior Designer and runs an Interior Design Studio in Sarasota. She is focusing more on consultant work these days working with a premier architecture firm that has her working on projects on a national level. When not working, she is actively volunteering at the children’s school and their extra curriculars. 

 

Larry and Marie have two children. Elle Bowman is 8 years old. Luke Bowman is 11 years old, and both attend the Classical Academy of Sarasota.

 

Elle participates in the local troop 941 of American Heritage Girls and a local Ju Jitsu studio. She also enjoys taking music and voice lessons with a song to sing at any given moment, almost always. 

 

Luke is in his 3rd season of playing tackle football with their Sarasota Sundevil team winning 1st place in the local playoffs and third place in the regional playoffs last year. He is excited to put his defense skills to work this upcoming season. Luke is an avid fisherman.

 

Olive Bowman is our young 13-year-old Doberman/lab family dog that was rescued from humane society as a puppy. Her spunk and sweetness round out our family perfectly these days. 

 

Our family purchased an Airstream in 2020, and we try to plan 2-3 airstream adventures a year. Some of our favorite spots have been trips to Georgia, St Augustine, the Keys, and Ginnie Springs, to name a few. 

 

When school and work allow for time off, travel remains at the heart of our quality family time and we have explored Canada, Sedona, Colorado, Montana, New York, the Keys, Northeast, Lake Tahoe, Mexico and the East Coast.
