Doris, now 88, is still loving people and helping them in any way she can. She has transitioned from carrying a briefcase to becoming a local missionary. She is happiest just doing God’s work. She believes in offering a “hand up” instead of a “hand out”!

 

Locally, for the last 15 years, she has been helping the Juntos. She spends 3 months screening needy families. Those selected then receive a full turkey dinner delivered at Thanksgiving. Those same families participate in a sponsored “Little kids Christmas” party where each family member gets a bag of “wants and needs” gifts to put under their tree. Her love is everywhere.
