CARma Auto Care: Where Integrity, Expertise, and Community Drive Every Mile

In an industry that can often feel intimidating or impersonal, CARma Auto Care stands out as a refreshing reminder that auto repair can, in fact, be honest, transparent, and even community-focused. Founded by Moira Sheehan, CARma has earned a trusted reputation in Pooler and Savannah by delivering dealership-level service with a neighborly touch.
A Shop with Heart
Moira opened CARma Auto Care with a simple mission: put people first. After nearly two decades in the corporate world, she realized she wanted to build something more meaningful—something rooted in community and integrity. What began as a leap of faith has grown into one of the region’s most respected auto repair shops.
“Cars are tied to people’s lives,” Moira says. “When someone hands over their keys, they’re trusting us with their family’s safety, their ability to get to work, or their child’s soccer game. That responsibility means everything to us.”
CARma offers full-service automotive repair, combining state-of-the-art diagnostic technology with ASE-certified technicians who treat every vehicle as if it were their own. But what truly sets CARma apart is its commitment to transparency. Every service includes detailed photos and videos so customers can actually see what’s going on under the hood—no guessing, no pressure, no surprise charges. Just honest guidance and real solutions.
A Culture of Care
Moira believes that if you take care of your team, they’ll take care of your customers—and that philosophy is at the core of CARma. Her staff is not only highly skilled, but also passionate about helping people. That culture of respect and integrity is reflected in every interaction.
CARma backs its work with a lifetime warranty on labor and up to 50,000 miles on parts—one of the strongest warranties in the industry. “We stand behind what we do,” Moira says. “Our customers deserve peace of mind long after they leave the shop.”
Built on Experience—and Passion
Though CARma officially opened in 2015, Moira’s journey as a shop owner began in 2008. She once owned multiple locations, but chose to focus on one so she could build the culture and customer experience she envisioned. Looking ahead, she plans to continue investing in her team, training, and tools. Expansion may come one day—but only if it can happen without sacrificing the community-centered spirit that defines CARma.
About the Woman Behind the Business
While CARma is all about community, so is its owner. Moira has lived in the Pooler/Savannah area for many years and raised her two sons here—her proudest accomplishment. Born in Long Island and raised in McLean, Virginia, she later moved south for college and earned degrees from the University of Georgia, Armstrong State, and Georgia Southern.
Outside the shop, Moira enjoys time with family and friends, traveling (she recently explored her Irish roots), and beach days on Tybee Island. She’s also lived a life full of adventure—she once raced cars and even tried boxing—but today her mission is steady and clear: serve the community with honesty, compassion, and excellence.
Advice from Moira
“Stay ahead of your maintenance. Small things—like oil changes and tire rotations—go a long way toward preventing major repairs. And don’t be afraid to ask questions! A good repair shop will take the time to explain what’s going on and help you make the best decision for your situation.”
More Than a Business
CARma believes in giving back. The team proudly supports local organizations including Safe Shelter, Greenbrier Children’s Center, and local foster care programs. “We’re neighbors helping neighbors,” Moira says. “This community has supported us, and we want to support it right back.”
