Magnolia Roots Endodontics

Rooted in Service, Excellence and Community

Dr. Carley Sells, a Westbrook resident and Army veteran, is the owner and founder of Magnolia Roots Endodontics, Pooler’s newest specialty dental practice focused entirely on root canal treatment. After nearly a decade of active duty service as an Army dentist and endodontist—including treating soldiers at Fort Stewart and Fort Bragg—Carley knew it was time to build something of her own. She and her husband Brian, also a veteran, have lived in Westbrook since 2021 and are proud to call this community home.
Following her experience in both military and private practice settings, Carley felt called to open an endodontics office that combined cutting-edge technology with compassionate, patient-centered care. That vision became Magnolia Roots Endodontics, which opened earlier this year. Her goal? To eliminate the fear often associated with root canals by creating a modern, welcoming environment and providing exceptional treatment.
Magnolia Roots offers a full range of endodontic services—from diagnosing tooth pain and performing initial root canals to handling complex re-treatments and microsurgery. As a root canal specialist, Carley is trained to save natural teeth and relieve pain with precision. Her advanced diagnostic skills also allow her to help patients who may be experiencing non-dental issues like TMJ, sinus infections, or neuralgias.
What sets Magnolia Roots apart is not just the expertise, but the atmosphere. Carley has built a small, experienced, and passionate team where everyone plays a key role in delivering a smooth, stress-free experience. The office itself is brand new, designed for comfort, and equipped with the latest tools—including microscopes for enhanced accuracy.
The business is also deeply committed to giving back. For every root canal performed, Magnolia Roots donates to Team Savannah for Vets, a local nonprofit supporting veterans in need with housing assistance, critical repairs, and more. In just two months, the practice has donated over $1,000 to the organization.
Magnolia Roots is located just outside Westbrook on Blue Moon Crossing—close enough to reach by golf cart, Carley jokes. The office has already gained a strong reputation among local dental offices and continues to grow rapidly. Looking ahead, Carley plans to expand the team, outfit additional treatment rooms, and eventually bring in a second endodontist to meet growing demand.
Whether you're dealing with a toothache or just want to be prepared for the unexpected, Magnolia Roots is a trusted local resource—right in your own neighborhood.
