For Hayden Price, golf is more than a game—it's a lifelong pursuit of growth, discipline, and excellence.

Originally from Clarksburg, Maryland, Hayden first picked up a golf club at age 10 after watching her older brother, Kyle, compete on the US Kids Tour. What started as curiosity quickly turned into a passion.

"It seemed like an enjoyable sport to play," Hayden says. "I enjoy the game of golf because it is a sport that you can never master and there is always something you can work on."

Her journey began through First Tee and PGA Junior League programs before progressing to tournament competition on the US Kids Tour. As a homeschool student competing for Habersham Academy, Hayden continued to sharpen her skills while competing in some of the region's most respected junior golf organizations, including the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA), Southeastern Junior Golf Tour (SJGT), Georgia PGA Junior Tour, and Georgia State Golf Association (GSGA).

That dedication paid off in a big way during 2025. Hayden captured both the High School State Championship and the Club Championship at Savannah Quarters Country Club, achievements that reflect years of hard work and commitment to the sport.

Yet when asked what advice she would give younger athletes, Hayden's answer has little to do with scores or trophies.

"No matter what happens, always be a good representation of yourself, even when nobody is looking," she says. "Know what you stand for so that you won't fall into the trap of comparison."

Those values have been shaped by the people she admires most: her parents, her brothers, and Coach Carol, all of whom have inspired her throughout her athletic journey.

When she's not on the golf course, Hayden enjoys reading, playing pickleball, singing, playing guitar, and making blankets. Those interests help provide balance to the competitive demands of golf while allowing her creativity and personality to shine.

This fall, Hayden will take the next step in her golf career as a member of the women's golf team at Shorter University. While she's excited about competing at the collegiate level, her long-term goals are even more ambitious. She hopes to win a college tournament, become an NCAA national champion, and one day earn a spot in the prestigious Augusta National Women's Amateur.

Given her track record of success and determination, those goals seem well within reach. As she prepares for the next chapter of her golfing journey, Hayden continues to represent Westbrook with skill, humility, and a commitment to excellence—both on and off the course.
