Cherished Memories at 1049 Arbor Grove Court

The Viswanathan family bids farewell to their beloved home in the Arbors at Wildhorse, a residence rich with community bonds, elegant design, and family warmth.

The Viswanathan family has called 1049 Arbor Grove Court home since 2014, building a life rich with memories in the Arbors at Wildhorse neighborhood. Originally from India, Vish and Jaya immigrated to the U.S. thirty years ago and have been a part of the St. Louis community since 1996, raising their son Vijay, who now dreams of working for the Cardinals. This four-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom residence has been the heart of their cherished gatherings, from Thanksgiving feasts with neighbors who became family to lively evenings in the two-story great room with its grand wall of windows and cozy gas fireplace.

Their home’s spacious 5,300 sq. ft. layout has been a perfect setting for family memories. The open breakfast area and gourmet kitchen with custom cabinetry and a large island often buzzed with friends and neighbors, sharing laughs over hot chocolate after sledding on the neighborhood’s “mini slopes.” Upstairs, three spacious bedrooms and a bonus room provided ample space for Vijay and friends, while the expansive main-floor primary suite offered a private haven for Vish and Jaya.

As empty nesters, they’re ready to downsize, though leaving their beloved neighborhood is difficult. They’ll miss evenings in the fenced backyard, relaxing under the custom pergola. It’s a home designed not only with beautiful details, like the formal dining room and paver patio, but also with a sense of warmth and community. With Rockwood schools and easy access to Chesterfield amenities, the Viswanathans know this house will be the ideal place for its next owners to create lasting memories.
