Michelle Chen of Wildhorse is a 17 year old junior at Lafayette High School. Michelle is part of a loving family of 5. Her parents, Yanfei and Yong are her forever supporters, and her sister Erica, shares a big bond with her. The last member of her family is their lovely dog, Ginger. 

Michelle favorite subject and biggest talent is art. Of the various art mediums, Michelle loves painting most and her work is simply on another level. Her paintings are extremely professional. When she's not focused solely on art, Michelle also swims, writes and plays piano.  

Michelle can’t resist a warm bowl of Ramen noodles! She is also a big fan of the movie Howl’s Moving Castle while Ado is her favorite singer. Michelle says her favorite vacation is staying home and painting quietly and peacefully. 

Michelle's biggest upcoming challenge will be her college search and deciding where she wants to go. For future plans, she obviously really wants to continue her studies in art and to eventually be an artist/art teacher/art professor. We wish her a bright future!
