The Christian family is in for an exciting new chapter as they settle into their new Wilderness home, bringing with them a spirit of adventure, family connection, and a love for making the most out of everyday moments.

Originally rooted in Texas, Ty and Breann Christian have built a life that’s taken their family across the country from Kansas City to California, before ultimately landing here. Along the way, they’ve created a close-knit, fun-loving household centered on shared experiences and meaningful traditions.

Their four children, Raija (16), Ruby (14), Renna (12), and Rhett (9), each bring their own energy and interests to the family dynamic. From cross country and volleyball to cheerleading and enthusiasm for just about every sport, the kids stay active and engaged. Rhett, the youngest, is especially known for his love of sports, math, and neighborhood playtime, while the girls enjoy everything from crafting and organizing to spending time with friends. This summer, Raija and Breann are even planning a special trip to Japan, just one example of the family’s shared love of travel and new experiences.

At home, the Christians are joined by their three dogs Jenny, a Labradoodle; Forrest, a Goldendoodle; and Louie, an energetic dachshund puppy who round out the lively household.

Ty works in the legal industry, and Breann is a physical therapist assistant, but when they’re off the clock, family time takes priority. Whether it’s trying new restaurants, hiking, fishing, or enjoying a laid-back movie night, they value time spent together. Some of their most cherished traditions include a last-day-of-school celebration (complete with an inflatable dinosaur suit), a Christmas scavenger hunt, and back-to-school ice cream parties.

When asked why they chose their new home, the answer was simple: they fell in love with the neighborhood, and especially the backyard. It’s easy to picture this family making the most of that space, hosting gatherings, playing games, and continuing their tradition of embracing each new chapter with excitement.

For the Christian family, home is wherever they’re together and Wilderness is about to become the perfect setting for their next adventure.
