I am in 11th grade at Plano West Senior High School. I started playing basketball as a kid purely for fun, but my mindset shifted freshman year when I decided to take the game seriously. Since then, I’ve committed myself to constant improvement, working with multiple coaches and competing across different teams to grow my skills and understanding of the game. My journey hasn’t been linear, but it’s been defined by discipline, resilience, and a willingness to learn. Through setbacks, expanded roles, and increased responsibility, I’ve grown into a more complete and reliable player.

My favorite memory is shooting around with my parents as a kid and just enjoying the game. I play with my parents a lot. They rebound for me, play defense on me and they’re a big part of why I love the game.  Another one of my favorite memories of basketball is watching the Dallas Wings play live. I watched them play with my team and we were part of the tunnel for high fives and I gave a high five to Paige Bueckers!

I know this is pretty common but I admire Stephen Curry. He’s been my favorite player since I was a kid. His attitude towards the game always leaves me in awe. His journey has been anything but easy. And he’s proved countless people wrong and continues to grow. This makes watching him play special for me.

After high school, I want to play college basketball and I plan to become a pilot or open
my own business.
