The Woodard Family
If you have spent any time around the neighborhood or nearby courts, chances are you have crossed paths with the Woodard family. With deep roots in the Plano community and a love for staying active, they bring a wonderful mix of energy, connection, and hometown pride.
Kimberly and her husband, Glenn, along with their two sons, Blake and Benjamin, have called the neighborhood home since 2018. After previously living in the Deerfield community, they were drawn to Willow Bend for its convenient location and easy access to the entire DFW metroplex—something Kimberly especially appreciates in her busy real estate career.
Speaking of which, 2026 marks a major milestone for Kimberly. She is celebrating 25 years as a Realtor with Ebby Halliday Realtors, helping families find their perfect homes across North Texas. Her passion for real estate and deep knowledge of the area have made her a trusted resource for so many in the community.
Plano has long been close to Kimberly’s heart. She moved here at age 10, attended Plano schools, and eventually returned after college to build a life and raise her family. Glenn also has strong ties to the area, having grown up in Lake Highlands with generations of Dallas roots. When it came time to choose where to raise their own children, Plano was an easy decision thanks to its strong sense of community and family-friendly environment.
The Woodards are an active family who love spending time outdoors. Kimberly is often found on the tennis courts, at a Pilates class, or enjoying a workout at the park. The family are also members at Gleneagles Country Club, where they enjoy everything from fitness to social gatherings with friends. Their shared love of tennis runs deep—both Blake and Benjamin played in high school and continue to enjoy the sport, along with a little golf on the side.
These days, both sons are making their mark at Texas A&M University in College Station. Blake is set to graduate this May with a degree in Industrial Distribution Engineering, while Benjamin is finishing his freshman year and exploring a future in the medical field, with plans to study biology. It’s clear that hard work and ambition run in the family.
When they are not on the courts or campus, the Woodards enjoy traveling and spending time together outdoors—whether that’s relaxing on the beaches of Rosemary Beach along 30A or exploring scenic hiking trails. Closer to home, they share a love for food and trying new restaurants around the city. One local favorite is Mi Dia, but some of their best memories are made right at home in the kitchen, where Benjamin often takes the lead as the family’s chef, with everyone else happily assisting.
When it’s time to unwind, you might find them watching episodes of Modern Family, cheering on Texas A&M, or listening to country music.
The Woodard family embodies what makes this neighborhood so special—connection, activity, and a true appreciation for community. If you see them out and about, be sure to say hello!
