Old Milton Dental: Modern Care with a Personal Touch
Dr. Katie Reid and family
At Old Milton Dental, we believe a dental visit should feel like coming home. It’s not just
about cleanings or fillings — it’s about professionals who remember your story,
welcome you by name, and treat you like family.
Since opening in 2001, Dr. Corey Mazer’s vision has been simple, create the kind of
dental experience he’d want as a patient. Today, Old Milton Dental combines a
welcoming environment, familiar faces, and genuine care to make every visit
comfortable, personal, and unlike any dental experience you’ve had before.
The Smiles Behind The Smiles
At the heart of Old Milton Dental is Dr. Corey Mazer, who for more than 2 decades, has
led with compassion, integrity, and a commitment to creating a patient-first environment.
His wife, Cari, and their three children, Maddy, Mackenzie, and Drew, are deeply rooted
in the Alpharetta and Windward community, where they have lived for over 25 years. Dr. Mazer has carefully curated staff members who align with the practice’s core values of
delivering exceptional care, honesty, and compassion.
Dr. Katie Reid, who has been part of the practice for nearly 18 years, is known for her
loyal commitment to her team and patients. “This place feels like home and everyone
here genuinely cares about the patient. It’s rare to see so many team members who’ve
been together this long,” she said. Dr. Reid is always finding the best way to combine
artistry, function, and overall wellness for her patients.
Dr. Jenna Jarvis has lived in the area for 27 years and has been part of Old Milton
Dental for eight. Her love for helping people feel confident in their smiles shows in every
interaction. “Patients who once avoided dental care now come in regularly and even
refer friends and family. Seeing that shift in trust and confidence has been one of the
most rewarding parts of our growth,” she said.
Georgia native and recent addition, Dr. Shwetha Silver, brings over two decades of
experience and a patient-first mentality. “What stood out to me right away is how much
everyone here truly cares. I’ve worked in other offices, and the culture here is truly
special,” she said. Dr. Silver loves seeing how a healthy smile can truly transform
confidence and quality of life.
The practice’s four dentists are supported by an incredible team of experienced
hygienists, dental assistants, and front office professionals that help bring the culture to
life. But, arguably the cutest staff member at Old Milton Dental is Dutch, a friendly
golden retriever who offers a calm presence and an easy distraction for nervous
patients.
What Makes Them Different
At Old Milton Dental, comfort and compassion come first. We focus on each patient
taking care not to rush through appointments. Each new patient receives a thorough, 2-
hour appointment complete with a full-mouth evaluation, digital scan, x-rays and even
an oral cancer screening.
Technology plays a big part in that comfort, too. Old Milton Dental invests in tools that
make procedures more precise and less intimidating. The Wand, painless injection,
iTero digital scanner, BIOLASE® Laser, Intraoral Camera, 3D cone beam technology,
CEREC® and more, that are each chosen with the patient in mind. “The goal is always
to make treatment as easy, gentle, and efficient as possible,” Dr. Mazer says.
As much as Old Milton Dental invests in smiles inside the office, they also pour into the
community beyond it. You’ll spot their name on local team jerseys and banners
throughout Alpharetta because for Dr. Mazer, giving back to the community is as
important as caring for its smiles.
“This is home,” he says. “The people here are our friends, our neighbors, and often, our
patients. Supporting them just feels right.”
A Lasting Impression
Each visit to Old Milton Dental is a reminder that great dentistry starts with great people.
“Dentistry can be emotional,” says Dr. Reid. “There’s fear, financial stress, or past
trauma. But when patients realize that everyone here genuinely cares about their
comfort and their outcome, that changes everything.”
It’s this commitment to both comfort and quality that keeps patients coming back, year
after year.
