For this month’s Home of the Month, we are pleased to showcase a thoughtfully executed renovation that highlights both vision and craftsmanship. After relocating from one Windward residence to another, this family settled into their lakefront home and embarked on what became a carefully planned, two-phase renovation.

The result is a striking before-and-after transformation, most notably in the primary bathroom. Designed by Kat Nelson Designs, the space has been reimagined to balance beauty and function with effortless sophistication. One of the standout features is the inclusion of a wet room, a growing trend in luxury home renovation. A wet room is a fully waterproofed bathroom space where the shower and, often, the soaking tub coexist within a single open area, creating a seamless, spa-like environment that feels both modern and timeless.
