Celebrating Windward’s Class of 2026

Senior year at Alpharetta High School is filled with milestone moments, and Senior Games stands out as one of the most anticipated and memorable events of them all.

This year’s Senior Games, organized by parent volunteer and committee chair Jill Merrill, gave seniors a chance to let loose, cheer each other on, and dive into the excitement of the day.

With her own son graduating, Jill was inspired to help create a memorable experience for the entire class.

“I wanted to give the seniors one last chance to just be kids again before they graduate,” she said.

The day kicked off with a Chick-fil-A lunch for all before students jumped into a lineup of classic favorites, including tug-of-war, water games, three-legged races, sack races, and hippity-hop relays.

“We built on traditions that had already been established while also learning from past years what worked best,” said Jill Merrill. “That allowed us to make thoughtful adjustments that really elevated the overall experience.”

With the help of dedicated parent volunteers and enthusiastic students, it all came together to make this one of the most memorable Senior Games yet at Alpharetta High School.
