Waffles Takes the Spotlight
Winnie Fields: Today, I’m sitting down with a very distinguished Cavapoo named Waffles. Thanks for chatting with me, Waffles.
Waffles: Happy to be here, Winnie. Always glad to make time for the press.
Winnie: Let’s start with the basics. How old are you, and what’s life like at home?
Waffles: I’m two and a half, old enough to be wise, young enough to be adorable. Home is great. I share it with Tony, Meredith, Luke, Levi, and Aubrey Craigo.
Winnie: You came to your family from Tennessee. Tell us about that.
Waffles: I did. I needed to be rehomed through no fault of my own, and luckily, this family was happy to welcome me. I like to think we all upgraded that day.
Winnie: Your name is pretty memorable. Any special meaning behind it?
Waffles: Not a dramatic story, I came with the name, and everyone wisely decided not to mess with a good thing.
Winnie: I hear you have an unusual talent involving fruit?
Waffles: Pears, specifically. If you have a pear tree, you should know I consider that an open invitation. Some dogs chase balls, and I appreciate fine produce.
Winnie: What do you think your family loves most about you?
Waffles: I’m well behaved, fun to play with, and I know when it’s time to relax. Aubrey especially enjoys playing with me, which works out perfectly since I’m always ready.
Winnie: Any funny stories you’d like to share?
Waffles: I prefer to keep an air of mystery. Let’s just say I make everyday life more entertaining.
Winnie: Be honest, how spoiled are you?
Waffles: Fairly spoiled. I’ve mastered the art of working with different family members for maximum benefit. It’s a skill, really.
Winnie: Last question, how have you enriched your home?
Waffles: I bring just the right amount of energy and playfulness, and I’m an expert at cuddling up on the couch with everyone. Mostly, I make the house feel warmer, happier, and a lot more fun.
Winnie: Sounds like a pretty perfect fit.
Waffles: I agree. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I believe someone is sitting on my spot on the couch.
