Meet Your Neighbors

Hi, I’m Paula Post, a proud St. Augustine native with roots that stretch back more than 100 years in this beautiful city. St. Augustine has shaped every part of who I am, and now I get the joy (and occasional chaos) of raising my twelve-year-old twin daughters, Amelia and Anastasia, here too. They’re smart, strong, funny, and endlessly talented, especially on the softball field. Cheering them on has easily become my favorite pastime, though they’d probably say my snack-packing skills deserve more applause than my cheering voice.

Our neighborhood is the kind of place that still makes me pinch myself. Neighbors aren’t just neighbors, they’re family you didn’t have to share a bathroom with growing up. Evenings often mean Dixie, our golden doodle, dragging us on “just one more” walk, or porch chats that magically turn into weekend barbecues. It’s the little moments, the kind that can’t be scheduled, that remind me how lucky we are to live here.

When I’m not in the stands with a cowbell (I’m kidding…mostly), I’m happiest with a book in one hand and either coffee or wine in the other, depending on the time of day and how much laundry I’ve conquered. I love art in all its forms, whether it’s fresh flowers on my table, a gallery walk, or that one home project I swore would take “just a weekend.” Gardening and traveling are my happy escapes, and I’ll always say yes to an adventure, even if it’s just a Saturday spent exploring something new.

Three years ago, I opened The Post Law Firm right in the heart of World Golf Village. My vision was simple: to make legal services personal, approachable, and empowering. We help with estate planning, business solutions, contracts, family law, you name it. Whether I’m drafting a will, building out a trust, or helping a business protect what they’ve worked so hard for, my goal is always to bring clarity to the process and help clients feel supported. Legal matters can feel intimidating; my job is to make them feel human.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me in garnet and gold on Saturdays in the fall (Go Noles!) or with Dave Matthews Band playing in the background. DMB has been the soundtrack of my life. I’ve been to forty-eight shows and counting, which some might call a hobby, but I call dedication.

At the end of the day, I just feel lucky to live here. This city is more than where I’m from; it’s where I belong. If we haven’t met yet, I hope we cross paths soon. And if you ever want to chat estate planning, swap book recommendations, or debate the best wines, my door’s always open.
