“Taco Bout A Party” was the theme of the Wynlakes Women’s Club summer social. Cindy Cornette and Faith Byrd coordinated the event. Cuco’s Restaurant provided an amazing Mexican buffet, and delicious pitchers of margaritas were served. The club, recently celebrating its 35th anniversary, has been coming together for exciting events such as these while building strong bonds of friendship and giving back to the community. The club proudly supports the Family Sunshine Center as its philanthropy.

Those in attendance included our President, Lynda Turner; VP Socials, Faith Byrd; VP Membership, Cindy Cornette and husband Earl; Secretary, Jean Stafford; Historian, Joan Adams; and Lynn Gamma, Co-Chair Reservations. Linda Bassett and her husband, Jerry; Vicki Dendis and her husband, Jim; Norma Moore, Alline Russell, and Betty Ziri were also there for the festivities.

Wynlakes Women’s Club holds their regularly scheduled meetings on the first  Thursday of the month for nine months each year – September through May. The summer social provided a time to come together for fun and fellowship as we plan for our 2023-2024 year ahead. We encourage all women in the Wynlakes community to join us at our next meeting on Thursday, October 5. We have much to offer, including our annual Holiday Coffee and year-end social.
