A Gust of Us

The Warstler Family Is Swept Up In The Charm of Yankee Trace

Since they arrived in Yankee Trace this past March, the Warstler family has quickly become familiar faces around the neighborhood. Kimberly, Michael, and their son, Paxton, are getting swept up in all their new community offers—from the beautiful walking trails to the friendly neighbors.

Originally from Haskell, TX, Kimberly is a family nurse practitioner in the United States Air Force, while her husband Michael, a native of Canton, OH, works as a pilot. Their journey to Dayton has been one of shared adventure, and it was in the Air Force where their paths first crossed. “We met while serving, and it’s been an amazing ride ever since,” Kimberly says with a smile. “Now, we’re excited to settle in Yankee Trace and see where this next chapter takes us.”

Little Paxton is already making the most of the neighborhood and loves spending time outdoors. “He’s all about the park and taking walks with us,” Kimberly shares. The family’s favorite way to spend time together? Getting outside. “We like to stay active, whether it’s walking the trails, playing in the park, or planning our next family vacation,” she adds.

In fact, their recent photoshoot captured their spirited nature. Despite the wind gusts blowing through the day, the Warstlers made the most of the blustery weather, their smiles shining as their hair whipped in the breeze. The photos—perfect snapshots of this fun-loving family—capture the motion.

The Warstlers live on Gatekeeper Way, and as they settle into their new home, they’ve been struck by how welcoming everyone has been. “The people in the neighborhood are so friendly,” Kimberly says. “Being a part of a community where everyone is so eager to connect brings such a warm feeling.” Before their move, Michael served on the HOA board in their previous community, and they’re both excited about finding ways to get involved in Yankee Trace.

Whether walking the trails, enjoying a breezy afternoon in their yard, or exploring the local parks, the Warstlers are making themselves right at home. “We’re definitely outdoorsy people,” Kimberly adds. “So if you see us out and about, don’t hesitate to say hi!” With their big hearts, active lifestyle, and love for their new neighborhood, the Warstlers are the kind of family that makes a community feel like home.
