Best of Dayton, New Hours, and Upcoming Events

The smell of leaves and woodsmoke is in the air as families carve pumpkins and October settles over Yankee Trace with its warm seasonal charm. We begin the month with a fan favorite: the Yankee Trace Brunch on October 11, featuring dishes that always bring our guests together.

Next, on October 21, we welcome Jim Robbins of Southern Glazer’s Wines and Spirits for an elevated Wine Dinner experience. Each course is paired with wines selected to complement and enhance every bite, creating a mouth‑watering sensation that lingers long after the last sip.

As the month deepens and the crisp, sea‑like air sweeps in, it carries us toward our mystical and long‑awaited celebration: the Shipwrecked Pirate’s Ball on October 30. This enchanted island welcomes all adventurers, creatures, and Halloween characters. Pirates, fairies, ship hands, maidens, ghosts, mythical beings, superheroes, villains, and all imaginative costumes are invited to come ashore. Guests will enjoy a feast fit for seafarers and enchanted travelers, lively dancing that keeps the island energized, and spirited drinks to raise a toast to the night’s magic. Let’s make it an unforgettable night of memories.
