A Sweet Taste of Fall: Snickers Apple Salad
October marks the heart of fall in our area. Colorful leaves, cooler temperatures, harvest celebrations and many traditions are enjoyed. Fall crops are at their peak with apples, sweet potatoes and pumpkins being some of my favorites. October reminds us that every season has its own beauty. As the leaves change, and the harvest is gathered, it’s a wonderful time to reflect on God’s faithfulness and the abundance of His blessings. The changing colors of nature serve as a reminder that while seasons change, God’s love and care remain constant. Snickers apple salad is a favorite dessert salad because it combines crisp apples with a creamy sweetness and crunchy candy bars. With just a handful of ingredients, it comes together in minutes and requires no baking. It’s a fall favorite when fresh apples are abundant at farmer’s markets and local stores. If you are making the recipe gluten free, I have included in parentheses the brands I prefer.
Happy Fall!
Blessings,
