Claudia Cedrone with Edward Jones
Claudia Cedrone is passionate about helping individuals, families, and business owners work toward their financial goals.
For Claudia Cedrone, becoming a financial advisor was more than a career choice. It was a path she had envisioned since childhood.
Growing up in Queensbury, New York, Claudia saw firsthand the meaningful impact her father made as a financial advisor with Edward Jones. She watched as he helped clients navigate their finances, plan for the future, and make a positive difference in their lives.
“For as long as I can remember, I wanted to do the same thing,” she says.
After graduating from Queensbury High School, Claudia attended Oswego State, where she studied risk management and insurance. She knew she wanted to return to the area after college, and today she lives in Glens Falls with her fiancé, Clark; their dog, Blizzy; and their two cats, Stormy and Lightning.
Before joining Edward Jones, Claudia spent four and a half years with Goldman Sachs Ayco, where she helped employees of major organizations—including the Federal Reserve, Johnson & Johnson, and Google—understand their retirement plans, insurance benefits, stock options, and broader financial picture.
“It gave me a broad base of knowledge and was a great foundation,” Claudia says. “But ultimately, I knew I wanted to give back to my community and build more personal relationships with my clients.”
Today, Claudia serves as a financial advisor with Edward Jones from her office in Granville. Alongside Branch Office Administrator Rebecca Carter, she helps clients grow, manage, and transfer their wealth. Their services include managing investments, developing comprehensive financial plans, assisting with tax and estate-planning strategies, and establishing retirement plans for businesses.
For Claudia, the most rewarding part of her work is helping clients reach the milestones that matter most to them.
“It is a wonderful feeling to know I’ve helped a client reach their goals, whether that’s buying a house, sending their child to college, or being able to retire,” she says. “It’s a very fulfilling job.”
Claudia and Rebecca strive to build lasting relationships grounded in care, trust, and personal attention. “Once you become a client with us, you are a part of our family, and we will be here for you over the course of your lifetime,” Claudia notes.
Claudia recalls working with a husband and wife whom she describes as “just really good people.” When they passed away within a relatively short time of one another, she was able to help their son navigate the financial matters that followed. Because the couple’s accounts were consolidated and Claudia had developed a close relationship with the family, she could guide him smoothly through a process that might otherwise have felt overwhelming.
“I was grateful to be able to make his life just a little bit easier during such a difficult time,” she says.
That dedication extends beyond the office. Claudia serves on the board of the Granville Chamber of Commerce and is helping to plan its annual car show. Her office was also heavily involved in organizing and carrying out Paint the Town Purple.
Claudia enjoys spending time in Dorset as well, often stopping at the Dorset Union Store before picking up a baked treat from Dorset Bakery.
For anyone who would like a second look at their finances, Claudia is happy to answer questions or review an existing financial plan with no obligation.
