A STROLL East Highlands Night Out at Freedom Brothers

Signature brick oven pizza fresh from the oven

From the moment guests arrived, the tone was set for something more than just a tasting.

Neighbors gathered, conversations flowed, and the space came alive with the energy that makes East Highlands so special. Set against a backdrop of rock-and-roll and the aroma of brick oven pizza, the evening quickly became a shared experience—one where people lingered, connected, and enjoyed being together.

The Tasting Experience
Guests were invited to explore a curated lineup of Freedom Brothers’ signature appetizers and pizzas—each crafted with fresh ingredients and bold, thoughtful combinations.
As ballots were turned in throughout the evening, a few favorites naturally rose to the top.

The Opening Act—Italian beef and mozzarella pinwheels—quickly became a standout, while the Red Barchetta offered a fresh, vibrant option that guests returned to again and again.
On the pizza side, the Green Day drew attention with its pesto and fresh mozzarella, while the Tavern Sausage delivered that classic, comforting flavor many were craving. The Petty and Rush pizzas also made a strong impression, frequently mentioned among guests as favorites.

Each bite reflected what Freedom Brothers does best—bringing together quality ingredients, creativity, and consistency.

More Than a Restaurant
Freedom Brothers is more than a place to grab a meal—it’s an experience shaped by passion, history, and intention.
With its wood-fired brick oven, curated selection of craft beer and cocktails, and a soundtrack rooted in rock legends, the atmosphere invites guests to stay awhile. It’s energetic without being overwhelming, and welcoming in a way that feels natural.

Neighbors Supporting Neighbors
One of the most meaningful parts of the evening was the way local businesses showed up for the community.
Through a collection of thoughtful raffle contributions, residents had the opportunity to connect with trusted professionals across a variety of industries—from wellness and fitness to home services and travel.

Participating partners included Popko Family Dental, The Dan Firks Realty Team, The Grout Medic, TG Travel Co., Invested Strength Studio, Ed Hoy’s International Art Glass, Oceanside Massage Spa, Delta Fitness, Aqua Pools, and Couture Vision.

Events like this are a reminder that community isn’t something that just happens—it’s something we create.
