Local Roots
Sara grew up in Glenpool and has always had strong ties to the area. After moving a few times following high school, she eventually settled permanently in Broken Arrow. For the past 14 years, she and her family have called Forest Ridge home. The neighborhood’s sense of community and connection is one of the things she appreciates most about living here. Sara is the proud mother of two children. Her son, Khage, is 14 and a freshman at Broken Arrow High School. Her daughter, Carys, graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 2025 and is currently studying Architecture at Oklahoma State University.

A Career That Started Early
Sara began her career with Arvest nearly 26 years ago as a part-time teller. She advanced quickly and became a branch manager at just 19 years old. At the time, she had been pursuing a completely different career path in school, but she soon realized how rewarding the banking industry could be.

In 2006, Sara transitioned from retail bank management into mortgage lending. It did not take long for her to discover how meaningful the work could be. Helping customers achieve the dream of homeownership became the focus of her career.

Today, Sara serves as Vice President and Mortgage Lending Supervisor. She originates home loans while also supervising a team that serves customers in both Tulsa and Bartlesville. In addition, she was recently installed as the Oklahoma Mortgage Bankers President for the 2026 term, an exciting milestone in her professional journey.

A Mission That Aligns With Her Values
Sara’s work reflects the mission of Arvest Bank: People helping people find financial solutions for life.

The story of Arvest is rooted in a strong commitment that began with its founders and continues today. From the beginning, the organization has focused on putting customers first. What started as a small bank has grown into a network of community-focused regional banks that provide a full range of financial services.

Through that growth, the guiding philosophy has remained the same. Arvest remains committed to being active and involved in the communities it serves while prioritizing the needs of its customers. That mission closely mirrors Sara’s own passion for helping individuals and families make confident financial decisions.

A Passion for Guiding Homeowners
Sara’s passion is helping people achieve their financial goals through homeownership. She believes the mortgage process should be clear, supportive, and centered on the needs of each individual family.

She takes pride in delivering a high level of customer service and enjoys guiding clients through what can sometimes feel like a complicated process. By providing clear information and honest advice, she works to ensure every client feels confident in their decisions.

Advice for Local Residents
Sara encourages homeowners to schedule a quick annual mortgage checkup. Even a brief review can help ensure that a mortgage still aligns with a homeowner’s financial goals.
Major life changes are also a good time to consult with a mortgage professional. Whether someone is downsizing, upsizing, or exploring ways to use home equity to navigate a financial situation, having a trusted advisor can make a significant difference.

Invested in the Community
Sara and her family enjoy supporting local businesses and staying involved in the community. Living in Forest Ridge has allowed them to build meaningful friendships and connections with neighbors.

As the community continues to grow, Sara looks forward to continuing to serve local families while helping more people achieve the dream of homeownership.
