Houligan’s Corner: More Than Just a Place to Eat

For Trenton and Jessie Vallier, building a business has never been just about business. It has been about family, community, creativity and finding a way forward when the unexpected comes their way.

Trenton grew up in Chanute, Kansas, and moved to Oklahoma in 2012 for work. Jessie is a Tulsa native, and after getting married in 2013, the couple settled in Broken Arrow. They have spent the last 14 years living on 10 acres in East Broken Arrow, where life is rarely quiet. Between raising their two sons, Eli and Sam, and caring for their horses, chickens, ducks, dogs, cat and goose, there is always something happening.

The Valliers' entrepreneurial journey began in 2015 when they stepped away from the corporate world and started Vallier Construction. The company began with high-end remodels before moving into commercial construction, spec homes and eventually general contracting.

Their path took an unexpected turn when the founder of Bro’s Houligan’s told Trenton that he had the personality for the restaurant business and a natural approach to customer service. That conversation eventually led the couple to open Houligan's Corner in East Broken Arrow in April 2025.

Today, Houligan's Corner is the business the Valliers enjoy most because it gives them the opportunity to meet people and become part of the community they call home.

Their entrepreneurial story doesn't stop there. When the restaurant faced a complicated septic situation, the couple had to find a creative solution to keep the doors open. That experience led to World Class Septic, which continues to serve as an example of their willingness to roll up their sleeves and solve problems when the traditional answer doesn't work.

Then there is Adventures of Biss and Olee, inspired by the unlikely friendship between their Newfoundland, Sven, and their Rouen duck, Olaf. Their son couldn't quite pronounce their names and began calling them Biss and Olee. What started as a family story grew into an Instagram account followed around the world and even a couple of published children's books.

Through all of their ventures, the Valliers share a simple philosophy: treat people the way you would want to be treated. They strive to provide quality products and services at a good value while creating a culture where employees and customers feel genuinely cared for.

For the Valliers, success isn't simply about what they build. It's about the people they meet along the way and the opportunity to serve their community with love, respect and a whole lot of heart.
