Turning Moments Into Masterpieces

For nearly 11 years, Forest Ridge neighbor Kristi Holland has been turning treasured memories into timeless works of art through her business, Kristi Holland Designs. Living in The Highlands with her husband, Matt, and their two children, Blakely and Asher, Kristi has built a business centered around creativity, connection, and meaningful moments.

What began as a hobby during her daughter’s nap times quickly grew into a thriving custom watercolor business after friends began requesting painted wedding gifts and portraits. Today, Kristi creates one-of-a-kind watercolor portraits of pets, homes, wedding bouquets, landscapes, and more — all inspired by clients’ favorite photographs and memories.

Kristi also offers live wedding painting services, creating ceremony portraits during receptions or sketching guests as unforgettable party favors. “I hear at every wedding that they’ve never seen anything like this,” she shared.

Her passion lies in creating artwork that feels deeply personal. “A custom painting adds uniqueness to a home and keeps sweet memories at the forefront of your mind,” Kristi explained. She believes thoughtful gifts like custom portraits often carry far more meaning than traditional presents.

Outside of painting, the Holland family enjoys spending time at The Ridge Club, playing tennis, walking neighborhood trails, and gardening together.

Kristi’s Christmas in July sale will feature discounts on custom portraits and ornaments throughout the month. Learn more at kristihollanddesigns.com or follow @kristihollanddesigns on Instagram.
