A lifelong resident of the Richmond area, he grew up in Short Pump and has watched the region transform over the past three decades. That appreciation for hard work and purpose eventually led him to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps. The discipline, leadership, and commitment he developed during his time in the Marine Corps helped shape the entrepreneur he would become. After leaving the Reserves and gaining experience through several unique career opportunities, he knew it was time to create something of his own. The answer was right in front of him: combine his love of landscaping with his passion for serving people.

In 2017, Stepping Stone Landscaping began with a single truck parked in the driveway and a vision of doing things differently.
