Building a Reputation the Copper Cloud Way
With over 1000 five-star Google reviews, it's no wonder this premier gutter company is the best in the business!
For Cassidy Mylander, owner of Copper Cloud Rain Gutters, building a successful business in the Treasure Valley means more than installing a quality product. It means building a company that his employees, customers, and community can be proud of.
Cassidy’s connection to Boise runs deep. Raised in Southeast Boise and a graduate of Timberline High School, he grew up riding dirt bikes in Idaho City, snowboarding at Bogus Basin, and floating the Boise River. With both his parents and grandparents graduating from Borah High School, his family’s Boise roots span generations.
“I’ve always had an entrepreneurial mindset and enjoy building things from the ground up,” Cassidy says.
That mindset ultimately led to Copper Cloud Rain Gutters. Cassidy saw an opportunity in the gutter industry to offer something different: a higher level of quality, professionalism, craftsmanship, and customer service.
What began as a small operation has grown into a thriving local company with an expanding team, specialized equipment, and capabilities ranging from traditional seamless gutters to European box, half-round, and custom copper gutter systems. Copper Cloud serves residential and commercial customers throughout the Treasure Valley and surrounding areas, handling everything from repairs and replacements to new construction and high-end custom homes.
At the center of the business is what Cassidy calls “The Copper Cloud Way.”
“It means showing up when we say we will, communicating clearly, taking pride in our craftsmanship, standing behind our work, and always being willing to go the extra mile,” he explains.
That commitment appears to be resonating. Copper Cloud recently celebrated a milestone Cassidy is especially proud of: reaching 1,000 five-star Google reviews.
“Every one of those reviews represents a customer who trusted us with their home and took the time to share their experience,” he says. “Building that kind of reputation in our community means more to me than just about any number we could put on a sales report.”
Community remains an important part of the company’s identity. As a locally owned and operated business, Copper Cloud provides jobs for local residents and works alongside homeowners, builders, contractors, and fellow small businesses throughout the Valley. Cassidy credits much of the company’s growth to referrals and word of mouth, making it especially important to him to give that support back.
Looking ahead, Cassidy wants Copper Cloud to become the most trusted and recognized rain gutter company in Idaho while preserving the culture and service that fueled its growth. That includes expanding specialty offerings, creating opportunities for employees, strengthening relationships with homeowners and builders, and continuing to raise expectations for the industry.
His advice to homeowners is simple: look beyond price. Consider a contractor’s reputation, communication, workmanship, reviews, and willingness to stand behind the finished product.
And after years in the gutter business, Cassidy has one more piece of practical advice for his Treasure Valley neighbors:
“Don’t forget to clean your gutters!”
