Wakeley's Christmas in July
Christmas in July Brings Community Together For A Good Cause
The 10th Annual—and final—Wakeley's Christmas in July Party & Toy Drive was held on July 25, bringing together neighbors from the Centennial and Black Oak communities in Iron Horse Ranch for an afternoon of fun and giving.
Hosted by IHR resident Kitt Wakeley, the event featured a live performance by the GRAMMY®-nominated band Los Wizzards, along with food, drinks, and a lively pool party atmosphere where guests embraced the summer theme. Attendees were also encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy to help support the toy drive.
“Every year we host the event in an effort to benefit our community such as raising money for foster programs or ALS and this year (we had) a toy drive. We have people who attend from the UK, Australia and across the country, including Hawaii," Wakeley explained.
The generosity of the community was evident in this year's incredible turnout and overwhelming support.
“We had over 600 attend this year and we received over 800 toys for the foster care programs such as Pepper’s Ranch and Anna’s House."
By opening both his heart and home, Wakeley has made this tradition a meaningful way to spread joy and support worthy causes.
