TIDE Fair Brings Creative Current to Isle of Hope

Held April 18th, 2026 at St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church

For one spring day, St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church transformed into a lively showcase of artistry, craftsmanship, and conversation as the inaugural TIDE Fair welcomed visitors into the heart of Isle of Hope.

Short for Talent in Design & Expression, TIDE was created to give artists a meaningful space to share their work face-to-face with the community. Held April 18, the fair featured more than 50 artists and makers representing mediums ranging from ceramics and textiles to photography, jewelry, painting, woodworking, and interactive crafts. Live music carried through the grounds throughout the day, adding to the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Founded within the Isle of Hope community, TIDE reflects the neighborhood’s appreciation for creativity, connection, and gathering. While the event highlighted a broad range of artistic styles, much of the work drew inspiration from the coastal South — marsh scenes, wildlife, Savannah landmarks, and personal stories appeared again and again throughout the exhibits.

Organizers say one of the most rewarding aspects of the event was watching artists and visitors engage in real time. Rather than simply shopping, attendees lingered to ask questions, hear creative journeys, and form genuine connections with the people behind the work.

TIDE was built through the efforts of local volunteers, parishioners, and artists who wanted to create greater visibility for Savannah’s creative community. Organizers hope the fair continues to encourage people to slow down, support local makers, and discover the many talented artists working within the area.
