Walking Caterpillar with Rylan and Oakley Brizendine
Supplies:
1 plastic straw
1 thin skewer
1 sheet of green paper
1 square of toilet paper
markers
tape
scissors
glue
Directions:
1) Cut a leaf shape from the green paper.
2) In a line, near the edge of the toilet paper, draw with markers some details for the back of your caterpillar.
3) Using the straw, roll the toilet paper up, ending on the decorated edge. Use glue to seal the edge.
4) Now scrunch both sides in toward the middle to reveal the caterpillar.
5) Cut an inch off of the straw and tape it to the bottom of the leaf.
6) Thread the skewer through the cut straw.
7) Tape one side of the caterpillar to the cut straw that's attached to the leaf, and the other side of the caterpillar to the tip of the skewer.
8) Now it's time to play! Move the skewer in and out to make the caterpillar walk!
