September is Library Card Sign-up Month. A library card will give you access to much more than books. In the case of Manlius Library, a library card lets you check out bakeware, birdwatching kits, a blood pressure kit, companion pets, memory care kits, and museum & park passes. If that’s not enough, your Manlius library card also allows you to borrow from our Library of Things which includes laptops, Wi-Fi Hot Spot kits, a C-Pen Reader, Roku Kits, e-Readers & Tablets, a Kill-a-Watt, and a portable DVD/Blu-Ray player. 

Of course, we do still have books on our shelves - in all shapes and sizes. We have paperbacks and hardcovers in regular and large print, as well as audiobooks on CD. If you’d rather read e-Books or listen to e-Audiobooks, these are available through Libby and Hoopla using your library card. You can also find DVDs, Blu-Rays, Music CDs, and Magazines on our shelves ready for check out.

 

Relax with a snack, a beverage, and a Newspaper in our cozy Bookmark Café. Take a walk through the library and see what we have in the Seed Collection, examine our extensive Audubon Collection, view the art on display in the Gallery Hall, and have a look at our Mark Noble mural, as well as the murals in our Children’s Area.
