On Wednesday, August 5, women from across the community gathered at the beautiful Skaneateles Country Club for the 2nd Annual Women’s Event: Inside Outside Beauty, presented by Kelly’s Choice and USI.

The morning brought together inspiring leaders in fitness, beauty, medicine, and workplace innovation for meaningful conversations centered around women’s health and well-being. More than simply a morning of connection, the event created an opportunity for women to learn, share experiences, and support a mission dedicated to creating healthier futures.

This year’s event placed a special emphasis on women in fitness and beauty, medical wellness, and worksite innovation. Speakers and panelists explored the many dimensions of feeling and living well—from movement and nourishment to confidence, menopause, women’s health, and creating supportive environments in the workplace.

The event was emceed by Sistina Giordano, spokesperson for Driver’s Village and former broadcaster for WSYR NewsChannel 9. Moderators included Alex Canavan, founder of the CNY Women’s Network; Christine Kowaleski, psychiatric and neonatal nurse practitioner at Crouse Hospital; and Stacey Tank, a Fortune 500 executive, CEO, and global corporate director.

Throughout the morning, attendees were encouraged to look at beauty and wellness from the inside out—recognizing that true well-being encompasses much more than appearance. The conversations highlighted the importance of nutrition, physical movement, confidence, preventive health, mental wellness, and creating workplaces and communities where women can thrive.

A particularly meaningful part of the morning was the opportunity to give back. All proceeds from the event benefited Nutrition Education For All, an organization working to create healthier futures through nutrition education in underserved communities.
