Heidi Bolyard is an architect and has worked with more than 750 families to eliminate the frustrations in their homes by creating spaces that function and flow for their families, and she has also inspired more than 75,000 people by providing ideas and solutions to improve their home.

Heidi has been featured on Good Day Columbus and Spectrum News1 and in Columbus Monthly and Buckeye Lifestyle.  She lives in Dublin, OH with her children Grady and Ellie.

Bolyard’s newest book, Getting Back Home: Small Shifts for Big Joy is more than a book about architecture or interiors. It is a heartfelt guide to creating a home that supports the life you want to live. The book explores the powerful connection between our surroundings and our well-being, showing readers how thoughtful, intentional changes at home can bring more calm, joy, connection, and meaning to everyday life.

Blending personal stories, practical design wisdom, and an uplifting message, Heidi invites readers to look beyond trends and square footage and instead ask a deeper question: Does my home reflect who I am and how I want to live? Through that lens, Getting Back Home becomes both an inspiring design book and a personal journey, helping readers reimagine their spaces in ways that feel authentic, functional, and emotionally grounding.

At its core, the book is about transformation, not just of rooms, but of routines, relationships, and the feeling of being at home within your own life. Whether someone is decluttering a single corner, rethinking how a family gathers, adapting a home for a new season of life, or planning a full renovation, Heidi offers encouragement and clarity every step of the way.

With the warmth of a trusted guide and the expertise of a seasoned architect, Heidi makes design feel approachable and deeply personal. Her message is clear: a well-designed home is not about perfection. It is about creating a sanctuary that reflects your values, supports your daily rhythms, and helps you find big joy through small, meaningful shifts.”
