For Amy Pazur, photography was never just about taking pictures. It was about preserving the moments that matter most.
In 2013, while sitting through a corporate meeting, Pazur realized she wanted something more meaningful. On a whim, she opened Facebook to see if anyone was selling a camera. She found one, bought it, and began what would become Moments & Co., LLC, a North Huntingdon photography studio located just a short drive from Murrysville.
Today, Moments & Co. serves families and businesses throughout the Pittsburgh region and was recently honored as TribLive's Best of the Best Gold Winner for Photography, reflecting Pazur's commitment to exceptional photography and an outstanding client experience.
Nearly 13 years later, that leap of faith has grown into a luxury portrait studio known for creating a relaxed, full-service experience where families and businesses feel cared for from start to finish. The result is timeless portraits, heirloom artwork, and authentic branding photography they will treasure for years.
"I wanted to create more than beautiful images," Pazur said. "I wanted to create an experience that takes the stress out of professional photography and gives people something they can enjoy for generations."
Known for her soft, timeless style and genuine interactions, Pazur focuses on capturing authentic expressions rather than stiff poses, creating portraits that feel natural today and remain beautiful decades from now. She photographs families from newborn through high school senior milestones, allowing many clients to stay with one trusted photographer as their families grow.

Pazur's path to photography was anything but traditional. She earned a degree in physics before realizing her passion for photography outweighed her fascination with the stars. She immersed herself in learning from some of the industry's leading educators and continues to invest in workshops, conventions, and specialized training each year.
Her commitment extends beyond artistry. Recognizing that newborn photography has no mandatory certification or safety requirements, Pazur earned her Certified Professional Photographer designation on her first attempt, completed newborn safety training through APNPI, and became a Newborn Care Specialist, ensuring every session is both beautiful and safe.
Although Moments & Co. is primarily a one-woman business, it is truly a family effort. Her husband, Joe, and daughters, Ellie and Aubrie, regularly lend a hand by preparing the studio, moving equipment, assisting with behind-the-scenes content, and helping wherever they are needed.
Family is also at the heart of Pazur's mission.
As a mother, she understands the emotions that accompany welcoming a new baby. During sessions, conversations often extend beyond photography as she encourages parents navigating sleepless nights, self-doubt, and the everyday challenges of raising children.
That empathy comes from personal experience. Pazur and her family experienced the heartbreaking loss of their first daughter Lily, a journey she shares in hopes of helping others feel less alone. She has photographed families experiencing infant loss, pregnancy after loss, and IVF journeys with compassion and understanding.
"My daughter will always be my daughter, even though I don't get to hold her in my arms," Pazur said. "If sharing our story helps another family feel less alone, then it's worth sharing."
Every session is designed to be low stress and fully guided, even for people who insist they are "not photogenic."
