Southeast Ventura County YMCA Golf Classic
Bringing together local businesses, community leaders and supporters for a day dedicated to strengthening our community
On May 4, 2026, the Southeast Ventura County YMCA hosted its annual Golf Classic at North Ranch Country Club, bringing together local businesses, community leaders and supporters for a day dedicated to strengthening our community. Through the generosity of participants, sponsors and volunteers, the event raised $86,000 to directly support YMCA impact programs serving Southeast Ventura County.
Funds raised through the Golf Classic stay local and help expand access to meaningful programs including Find My Genius, Safety Around Water, Disaster Relief efforts and financial assistance that ensures individuals and families can participate in YMCA programs regardless of financial circumstances. These programs create opportunities for youth to thrive, support families and provide help when it’s needed most.
This year’s tournament was made possible through the support of 52 sponsors and the dedication of 30 volunteers, whose generosity and involvement helped turn a day on the course into meaningful support for local families and programs.
"What makes this event special is seeing our community come together and knowing the impact goes far beyond one day of golf," said Jason Amoroso. "Every sponsor, golfer and volunteer helped create opportunities for local kids and families to access programs that make a real difference."
The Southeast Ventura County YMCA extends its sincere thanks to all golfers, sponsors, volunteers and supporters for helping make this year’s event a success and for investing in a stronger, healthier community for all.
