Meet four-year-old Kyle Harrison Ashley. Kyle and his family have lived in Oak Creek since 2021. He loves going to the pool at the nearby club and likes that the neighborhood has so many sidewalks so he can ride his bike everywhere. Kyle loves riding his bike and playing on the trampoline in his backyard. He could spend all day jumping.  

 

Kyle spends a lot of time with the Ashley’s pets, dogs Leia and cats Sylvester and Theodore. He loves to play with them, but they are a bit old and sleep most of the time. “I’m most excited about my new puppy Bowser,” Kyle says. “I can’t wait to teach him tricks and play fetch with him.” The Ashleys have always had pets, but Bowser, a yellow lab, is going to be Kyle’s puppy. He can’t wait for a new best friend. 

 

Kyle also loves playing games with his family, including playing “Daddy T-Rex” with his dad and playing with monster trucks. Kyle has a big collection and loves building ramps to see how high he can jump them. When he grows up, he wants to be a monster truck driver. He loves how big they are and how high they jump. His favorite trick is the backflip. “My favorite monster trucks are Gravedigger and Bone Shaker,” Kyle says. “One day, I hope to be doing backflips while driving Gravedigger!”   

 

Kyle attends Stepping Stone School, where he is in Ms. Pat’s three-and-four-year-old class. In class, they are working on learning letters and how to write them. Kyle knows all the letters of his name and can write almost all of them. His favorite thing in class is to play bingo. The class has big bingo games and the winner gets a trophy, which Kyle says is a lot of fun. His best friend in class is Maverick, and they play together all the time. Maverick is always there for Kyle when he needs him, and if Kyle has had a tough day at school, Maverick is the one to cheer him up. 

 

Kyle’s favorite place to visit is Hot Springs, Arkansas. His family has a condo there and it’s very fun to go hiking and play in the woods. On one occasion, Kyle and his family went to the top of Hot Springs Mountain Tower and got to see all the mountains around them, which was an awesome experience.  

 

At home, Kyle’s favorite time of year is Christmas because he gets to celebrate the holidays with his friends and family shortly after celebrating his birthday on December 10th. It’s just a great time of year! On Christmas Eve, his family gets together for a big meal and games. Kyle’s favorite is a saran-wrapped ball that has lots of candy and little toys inside. The family takes turns unwrapping the ball as fast as they can while someone else reads The Night Before Christmas. Whoever gets to the center of the ball gets a big surprise, and it’s a lot of fun. Whatever the season, Kyle loves spending time with his friends and family, and always finds fun in every situation!
