Each February, Handsome Properties brings together clients, agents, and community partners for one of its most anticipated annual traditions, the firm’s Oyster Roast in Charleston. The event has become a meaningful opportunity to step away from the pace of the real estate market and spend time strengthening the relationships that support the brokerage’s work

throughout the year.

This year’s gathering continued that tradition, welcoming guests for an afternoon centered around local food, live music, and community engagement. Roasted oysters were served alongside a menu prepared by Chef Jamie Westendorff of Charleston Outdoor Catering, whose team cooked on-site. They created a relaxed, outdoor atmosphere that reflected the spirit of a classic Lowcountry oyster roast. Guests also enjoyed ice cream from King of Pops, sponsored by Jen Morris of Fifth Third Bank.

Live music from Fo Daniels provided the backdrop for the afternoon, while a raffle and community activations added to the event’s energy. One of the highlights was a pet adoption partnership with MeowDog, giving attendees the chance to meet adoptable animals and

support local rescue efforts. The inclusion of local nonprofit participation has become an important part of the event’s evolution, aligning with Handsome Properties’ focus on community involvement beyond real estate.
