Where/why did you get your pet?
Biscuits comes from Sunshine Goldens, a small, responsible breeder in Greenwood, SC. It was important to us to choose someone who raises their dogs with genuine care and treats them like family—not a breeder focused on volume or profit.
Is there a story behind its name?
Yes! Our daughters were very into the tv show, Bluey. The Dad, Bandit, always says “Oh, Biscuits!” and we all thought that was a perfect name for our new puppy.
Anything special or unusual about them (talents/quirks)?
Biscuits never misses a chance to find a stick on our walks. The bigger and more awkward, the better!
What do you like best about your pet?
Biscuits is just the sweetest with our girls, and adores snuggling with them and allows them to use him as a pillow happily.
Where are some of your pet’s favorite places to play or visit?
Biscuits loves romping with his doggie friends at the park in the Old Village. If we ever lose sight of him, just check the nearest muddy puddle, he’s probably happily sprawled right in it.
Any funny stories?
Biscuits’ favorite (and most mischievous) habit is stealing our 3-year-old’s giraffe lovie, Gigi, and turning it into a game of keep-away while we all chase him around the yard. Poor Gigi is missing both her ears and horns, and has had her arm sewn back on more times than we can count, all thanks to Biscuits.
How spoiled is your pet?
Incredibly so. Sorry not sorry.
What else should we know about your pet and/or how your pet has enriched your home/family?
Biscuits provides laughter when he gets the zoomies on the couch, love when someone desperately needs a cuddle, and always greets us with a big, goofy smile when we come home from a long day.
