Meet Stella. Stella is a 6 year old Yellow Lab Retriever who shares a home with Matthew, Nadia, Luca, Mila and Giana Speziale! In 2020, during the pandemic, the family had been spending more time at home and thought that this would be the perfect time to welcome a pet. At the time, they had been living in Virginia, where they found a family-owned breeder. “We knew Labs were wonderful family dogs, which made the breed an easy choice for us,” Nadia says. Even before meeting Stella, they had already chosen a name. It was sweet, classic and once they met her, the name seemed to suit her perfectly!

From the moment Stella joined the family, she quickly found her place. She has grown up right alongside the kids and has become a part of their everyday lives. She is incredibly gentle and shows endless patience with the children and loves to be around family. Stella not only brings the cuddles but definitely brings the energy. She could play fetch for hours and the second she's invited into the pool it's hard to get her out. One instance, she got a little too excited and let her curiosity take control. One second Stella is near a beehive and the next at the vet! She seemed to be investigating a little too closely and unfortunately found out she was allergic to the stings. Honey definitely smells delicious, but Stella learned some things are better left unexplored!

Over the years, Stella has become such an important part of the Speziale family. Whether she's curled up for a good nap, chasing a ball or following family members around, she is happiest when she’s with her people. Stella has brought endless laughs and so much joy into their home, becoming a part of countless family memories along the way. From growing up alongside the kids to filling their home with love and laughter, Stella has created a place in the family that could never be replaced.
