A Legacy of Grit and Home in Northwest Arkansas

Monica Goode's story isn't just about real estate. It’s about helping families put down roots in Northwest Arkansas, the place she proudly calls home. Real estate was part of her everyday life long before she entered the business.

Growing up in Fayetteville with a single mother who worked tirelessly as a Realtor, Monica had a front-row seat to the challenges and rewards of a commission-only career. She watched her mom navigate uncertainty with unwavering resolve, always figuring it out, always pushing forward. That grit became the foundation of Monica's approach to real estate when she earned her license in 2007, immediately after graduating from the University of Arkansas. Just two years later, she earned her broker's license, a testament to the work ethic instilled in her from day one.

But life had other plans before real estate became her full-time calling again. Monica's path took her into pharmaceutical sales with Publicis, sharpening her negotiation and consulting skills in a corporate environment. Then came a monumental shift: marriage, a move to Green Bay, and several years supporting her husband, Brett Goode, during his career as a Green Bay Packer. The NFL lifestyle was demanding, fast-paced, and unforgettable, but Arkansas was always calling them back. In 2020, the family returned to Northwest Arkansas, settling first in Bentonville and later building a custom dream home in Elm Springs, where they now raise their two children, Jackson and Blakely.

Experience That Sets Her Apart

When Monica re-entered the Northwest Arkansas market full-time in 2018 following Brett's retirement, she brought with her a rare combination of lived experience and professional expertise. Today, she's a $10 million-plus annual volume producer who specializes in new construction, high-level contract negotiation and providing a seamless, turnkey experience for clients who require more than just an agent. "I am Fayetteville through and through," Monica says, reflecting on her lifelong roots. "If I could choose anywhere in the world to live, I would still choose NWA, home. What I cherish most is the diversity and the people. It's a safe, vibrant, and inclusive environment that makes it the absolute best place to raise my children."

Even with years of experience and consistent high-volume success, Monica still leans on the woman who started it all. Her mother, with 50 years in the industry, remains her go-to mentor for complex negotiations and tough deals. That multi-generational wisdom, combined with Monica's own proven negotiation skills honed during the battlefield markets of 2020 through 2022, means her clients get the best of both worlds: legacy knowledge and modern strategy.

Her deep familiarity with the region gives Monica a unique advantage in a market exploding with growth. She doesn't just show houses; she introduces newcomers to the lifestyle, the schools, the trails and the distinct personalities of each community. Whether guiding a family relocating from across the country or helping a professional athlete navigate a confidential, high-pressure move, Monica understands the "micro-intricacies" of Northwest Arkansas in a way only a lifelong local can.

Guidance for Finding Your Perfect Fit

Monica’s advice to future neighbors is simple but powerful: visit and "date" each town first. Fayetteville has a soulful, artsy energy; Bentonville is polished and fast-paced; Rogers offers a perfect family-suburban balance; and Elm Springs provides serene, custom-built peace. Drive your potential commute at the actual times you'll be on the road, not just on a Sunday afternoon, and find a local Realtor who can explain why one street is zoned for a specific school while the next one isn't.

For Monica, real estate isn't just a transaction. It's about helping people discover the rhythm that matches their lifestyle and ensuring every detail is handled with care, privacy and professionalism. Northwest Arkansas is home, and she is committed to guiding others as they find their place here.
