For the Pennington family, Red Tail has been far more than a neighborhood. Since becoming original residents in October of 1998, the community has provided a place filled with connection, celebration, and lasting memories. Relocating from Mexico City because of a career opportunity, the Penningtons initially searched for existing homes before discovering Red Tail through their real estate agent. The opportunity to build a new home within a golf club community immediately stood out because of its welcoming atmosphere, ideal location, and vision for future amenities.

Although the golf course added to the appeal, it was the social environment and sense of community that truly drew the Penningtons in. They were looking for a place that felt safe, organized, and family-friendly while still being conveniently close to shopping, freeways, and entertainment. Over the years, Red Tail became the perfect place to raise their children and later spend quality time with grandchildren, friends, and neighbors.

The family has especially enjoyed the community amenities. The workout room remains part of their regular routine, while summers at the pool have created many cherished memories with family and guests. Relaxing on the patio during warm evenings has also become a favorite tradition. One of the most meaningful milestones for the Penningtons was hosting their son’s wedding ceremony and reception at the clubhouse, a memory that continues to hold a special place in their hearts.

The Penningtons describe Red Tail in three simple words: safe, organized, and fun. In the early years, neighbors gathered frequently for block parties, holiday activities, and family events, helping build friendships that still exist today. Nearly three decades later, Red Tail continues to provide the lifestyle, comfort, and strong sense of community that first made it feel like home.
