Double the Fun

Brantley and Hudson Estep are keeping Tiffany and Eddie on their toes with contagious laughs, bright red hair, and a whole lot of boyish energy.

If Tiffany and Eddie Estep ever wonder where the energy in their house comes from, they don't have to look far. Their sons, three-year-old Brantley and one-and-a-half-year-old Hudson, are a nonstop pair whose infectious laughs, fiery red hair, and fearless personalities keep the family smiling—and moving!

Brantley, born July 13, 2023, is affectionately known as B, while Hudson, born March 7, 2025, answers to the equally adorable Hootie. Described as "non-stop, hyper, crazy, fearless, fun, Sour Patch Kids," the brothers bring a little bit of everything to their family dynamic. And while life with two little boys may be chaotic, Tiffany and Eddie wouldn't trade a minute of it.

The brothers' bond is already something special. Brantley loves being a helper and is always ready to pitch in with whatever Mom and Dad are doing. Give him his tool playset and a few toy cars, and he's happily fixing things around the house. He's also beginning to take on the role of big brother a little too seriously, often trying to parent Hudson with a very official, "Hootie, please do not do that."

Naturally, Hudson wants to do anything and everything his big brother does. He watches Brantley closely and copies his every move, making it clear that his big brother is already his favorite role model. Watching that relationship grow is one of Tiffany and Eddie's favorite parts of this stage of childhood.

The boys share plenty of favorite activities, too. Cars, trucks, buses—if it has wheels, they're interested! When they're not playing with anything on wheels, they're likely having a kitchen dance party, with music blasting and everyone stomping along to We're Going on a Bear Hunt. Tickles and playing together are guaranteed to bring out their biggest laughs.

Brantley's current favorites include noodles and hot dogs, while Hudson has a much simpler philosophy when it comes to food: he just wants a snack! At bedtime, Brantley settles in with his beloved Grave Digger pillow, while Hudson cuddles his sleepsack—even when he's nowhere near ready for bed.

Both boys are also big fans of the water. They love spending time at the pool and taking boat rides, which have the bonus of putting them both to sleep. In fact, if you're looking for the best nap spot in the Estep household, the answer is easy: on a boat! They also enjoy golf cart rides throughout the neighborhood, making community life a perfect fit for their active little personalities.

Brantley recently tried soccer and loved every minute of it, while Hudson is happiest whenever music is involved. He's always ready to sing, dance, or join in on the fun. His vocabulary is growing quickly, with favorite words including "ball," "pool," "Nana," and his enthusiastic finale to Old MacDonald: "EIEIO!" Hudson also calls every dog "Nana" after the family dog, Nala.

Brantley, meanwhile, has entered the wonderful world of endless questions. His favorite words right now are "Why?" "How?" and "What's that?" He's also a budding mechanic who loves pretending to fix cars and dreams of being just like the grown-ups who keep things running.

One parenting moment Tiffany and Eddie won't soon forget happened when Brantley made the transition to his big-boy bed. One of the first nights, he jumped from the bed to the floor an estimated 75 to 100 times before finally giving in to sleep. It was exhausting at the time—but it's already becoming one of those stories they'll laugh about for years.

The Estep boys are happiest when they're together, whether they're splashing in the pool, riding on the boat, playing with trucks, or simply making each other laugh. They've even enjoyed a few adventures to Florida, adding travel to their growing list of family memories.

For Tiffany and Eddie, this season of parenthood can feel like beautiful chaos. They know the days can be hectic, but they also know these are the moments they'll someday miss. "As hectic as life seems at the moment, I know we will miss this one day when they are older," Tiffany says.

For now, there's plenty more exploring, playing, singing, questioning, and laughing ahead. And as Brantley and Hudson continue growing closer, their parents are most excited to watch their brotherly bond become even stronger.

One thing is certain: these two little redheads are always ready for an adventure—and they'd love a few more neighborhood friends to join them!
