A Dinner Party Done Right
Sometimes the best gatherings don't need a special occasion.
On Sunday, April 12th, River Ranch resident John Mouton welcomed family and friends into his home on Richland for an intimate dinner party featuring a custom menu prepared by private chef Maggie Mouton. Guests included Jake Mouton, Steve and Sarah Oubre, Chuck and Peggy Mouton, and Bill Moody and Lisa Hanchey.
Known for creating personalized dining experiences, Maggie prepared a thoughtfully curated multi-course meal that was as beautiful as it was delicious. Guests enjoyed everything from salmon sushi bites served on black sesame rice crackers to roasted beet salad over whipped ricotta, followed by citrus sea bass topped with crispy panko and pistachios alongside turmeric pearl couscous. Each course showcased fresh ingredients and careful attention to detail, turning dinner into an experience to remember.
While the menu was certainly a highlight, the evening was really about gathering around the table. Friends and family lingered over great food, conversation, and the welcoming atmosphere of John's home, proving that some of the most memorable nights are simply the ones spent together.
River Ranch has always been a neighborhood where neighbors enjoy opening their homes, sharing a meal, and making lasting memories. This dinner was a wonderful reminder that hospitality doesn't require a milestone or celebration—just good company and a seat at the table.
