From Rescue to Riverview
Meet Tank, the dock-loving, car-hopping Frenchie whose second chance turned into the sweetest kind of happy ending.
Some dogs simply leave a mark everywhere they go, and Tank Graham is absolutely one of them. This two-year-old white French Bulldog has become a beloved part of life in the Enclave, winning hearts with his hilarious personality, adventurous spirit, and undeniable charm.
The Graham family has called the neighborhood home since 2012, and one of the things they love most is being surrounded by young families with similar interests and strong community connections. Tank fits right into that warm and welcoming spirit.
Tank’s story began long before he found his forever home. Gifted to the Graham family through Kelly Harple, Tank first spent time being fostered and loved while waiting for the perfect match. During that season, he also completed an intensive board-and-train program through Anvil K9, where he learned obedience, leash manners, and impulse control. It was clear early on that Tank was something special.
Now thriving with the Graham family, Tank has fully embraced the good life. Whether he’s racing toward an open car door for his next adventure, lounging in the backyard, or spending time with his beloved Frenchie brother Dudley, Tank brings nonstop entertainment wherever he goes.
Like many French Bulldogs, Tank has a huge personality packed into a small frame. His family says Frenchies are “so funny with a mind of their own,” and Tank proves that daily. One of his funniest habits is jumping into the car every single time a door opens, invited or not. If there’s a ride involved, he’s convinced he belongs on it.
When he’s not cruising around town, Tank enjoys daycare days at Camp Bow Wow, snacking on his favorite treats like rotisserie chicken and string cheese, and spending time outdoors with his dad, Matt.
One of the family’s favorite memories perfectly captures Tank’s lovable personality. While out fishing on the dock or boat, Tank patiently waits nearby, completely fascinated by the catch of the day. The moment a fish is reeled in, he eagerly leans in to give it a lick, completely unbothered and endlessly curious. It’s become one of those simple family moments that always brings laughter.
Tank may be small, but his personality is larger than life, and it’s easy to see why everyone who meets him instantly falls in love.
